For patients who are done fighting their teeth.
All-on-X is for people with failing teeth, missing teeth, loose dentures, or severe dental breakdown who want fixed teeth and a confident smile again. A full arch of teeth supported by four to six implants. Not removable. Not glued in at night. Fixed.
Your options, in plain English
Dentures
Removable. Rest on gums. Move when you chew and speak. Bone loss continues underneath. Workable for some; a daily frustration for many.
Bridges
Fixed, but they need healthy neighboring teeth to carry the load — not an option when most teeth are failing.
Individual implants
Excellent for one or several missing teeth. Replacing every tooth individually is rarely practical or necessary. See Dental Implants.
All-on-X
A full fixed arch on strategically placed implants — teeth that stay in, function near-naturally, and are designed to look like they grew there.
You may be a candidate if…
- Most or all teeth in an arch are failing or missing
- You wear dentures and hate the movement, the adhesive, the covered palate
- You’re facing a “patchwork or rebuild” decision and want one definitive answer
You may not be a candidate if…
- Bone volume is insufficient without grafting (imaging tells us)
- Uncontrolled diabetes or conditions that impair healing are present
- You smoke heavily — it raises failure risk, and we’ll discuss it honestly
- Your natural teeth are savable — some patients are better served keeping and restoring them. If that’s you, we’ll tell you.
The process
Comprehensive consult + CBCT
Imaging, gum evaluation, bite, medical history. Real diagnostics before any recommendation.
Candidacy & written plan
Honest answers about whether All-on-X — or something more conservative — is right for you.
Surgical phase
Implant placement, often with a fixed provisional arch shortly after, so you’re not without teeth.
Healing & final arch
Your final prosthetic arch is designed with the same natural-aesthetic standards as our veneer work.
Maintenance protocol
Lifelong hygiene and periodic prosthetic maintenance — protected like the investment it is.
Considerations: surgical risks are reviewed case by case. All-on-X is a significant investment, quoted after imaging and records; financing is available for qualified patients. It requires lifelong hygiene and periodic prosthetic maintenance. Individual results vary.
From failing teeth to a fixed smile.
Implant smile makeover by Dr. Calish. Individual results vary; candidacy requires imaging and a clinical exam.
