The Calish Smile Design Method

A smile that fits your face doesn’t happen by accident.

01

Listen

Before we talk teeth, we talk about you — your goals, your timeline, what you want people to see when you walk into a room, and what you’ve been avoiding in photos.

02

Analyze

Teeth, bite, gums, facial proportions, smile line, photos, function, and oral health. Great cosmetic dentistry is built on diagnostics, not guesswork.

03

Design

A written plan built for your case — veneers, whitening, aligners, implants, or restorative care in the right combination and the right order.

04

Refine

This is where natural happens: color, length, proportion, symmetry, surface texture, and the small “imperfections” that make teeth look real instead of manufactured.

05

Maintain

Bite management, hygiene, night protection when needed, and a maintenance plan — so the investment you made keeps looking like day one.

Patient Concerns

The questions everyone has. Answered without the sales pitch.

“Will it look fake?”

Not if it’s designed correctly. Fake-looking results come from opaque materials, one-size templates, and skipped diagnostics. Natural results come from translucent layered porcelain, facial analysis, and a dentist who studies what makes real teeth look real.

“What does it cost?”

Honest answer: it depends on your case — which is why we publish real ranges and explain what moves the number. No mystery pricing. See Cost & Financing.

“Does it hurt?”

Modern cosmetic dentistry is far more comfortable than most people expect. Most veneer patients are surprised by how uneventful it is. We’ll walk you through exactly what to expect for your plan.

“What if I grind my teeth?”

Then we design for it — bite analysis first, materials chosen for strength, night protection built into the plan. Ignoring grinding is how cosmetic work fails. We don’t ignore it.

Investment & Timeline

Real ranges, not mystery pricing.

Whitening from the low hundreds. Veneers typically $1,800–$3,000 per tooth. Full smile makeovers commonly $8,000–$40,000+ depending on scope. Full-arch implant solutions are quoted after imaging and records. Financing available for qualified patients.

Timelines: whitening in days · veneers in 2–3 visits over a few weeks · full rehabilitation staged over months.

Quick Answers

Before you even ask.

Am I a candidate for veneers?
If your teeth and gums are healthy (or can be made healthy) and your concerns are color, shape, wear, chips, or spacing — likely yes. Candidacy is confirmed by an exam, not a website.
Will veneers look fake?
Badly designed ones do. Natural results come from layered translucent porcelain, shade-matching to your face, and design that respects natural tooth character.
How long do veneers last?
Commonly 10–15+ years with good hygiene, bite management, and night protection if you grind.
What does a smile makeover cost?
Commonly $8,000–$40,000+ depending on scope. Full honest ranges on our Cost & Financing page.
What happens at a cosmetic consultation?
Conversation about goals → exam and photos → realistic options and honest costs → written plan. No pressure, no ambush.

Your smile should look like you — on your best day.

Three minutes. No pressure. No commitment. Just clarity on what’s possible for your smile.
