Dr. Calish combines his extensive experience in cosmetic and implant dentistry with a refined artistic expertise to exceed his patients' expectations of a magnificent smile. A practicing cosmetic and implant dentist and multi-practice owner in the Orlando area, he built his approach on a simple promise: clarity first — confidence follows.
Dr. Calish firmly believes that everyone deserves a magnificent smile, and his goal is to create a smile for each patient that reflects the true essence of their spirit and personality. He has seen first-hand how helping patients who previously struggled with their teeth — giving them a great smile — enhances not only their self-esteem, but the way they interact and engage with others.
With highly focused training across cosmetic, aesthetic, and implant dentistry, Dr. Calish provides a full range of cosmetic and reconstructive dental procedures, with an emphasis on extensive full mouth rehabilitation. His patients come not only from across the East Coast, but travel from many states to his Clermont office for some of the finest dental care available.
Dr. Calish has successfully rehabilitated thousands of patients with partial or total edentulism (absence of teeth) resulting from illness, age, tragic accidents, or poor oral health — restoring not just their dental health, but their self-esteem and confidence too.
Education & training
Dr. Calish graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry, and served as a researcher for the FSU Department of Psychology. Realizing his strong desire to help others improve their quality of life through dental health, he completed a Master's Degree in Medical Sciences at the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida.
He went on to Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine and was honored with the Surgeon of the Year Award from the American Academy of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons. Since receiving Florida Dental Board Certification, he has devoted his professional life to practicing and studying the art of comprehensive dentistry — and to using his teaching experience to educate patients on every aspect of general, surgical, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Calish is a professional lecturer for future dentists, has interviewed hundreds of top dental practitioners from around the world, and has helped design several teaching and instructional systems for general dentistry.

Up close & personal
Dr. Calish is married to his beautiful wife Lori, and together they have a Shih-Tzu puppy named Daisy. He loves spending time with his family and enjoys bodybuilding, surfing, fishing, golf, BBQ, and all aspects of home improvement. A competitive endurance athlete, he’s currently training for an Ironman.
